On December 29, Stancforma Kft. introduced a quality management system in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2000, which applies to the design and production of flat cutting tools.
At the beginning of 2004, we started with new momentum. In previous years, the lines were bent with manual benders – we measured the length of the lines that could be inserted into the wood with a string and other tricks, then relying on manual dexterity and using individual calculations, we drove the knives into the wood, often using a whole row of bending jaws. When the arrival of the Bend Mate CNC bender was discussed, we were skeptical about how a machine would be able to perform the complex bends that we had invented. When we ran the first test bends, everyone was amazed to see how precise they were, even the complicated bends. The bending time was reduced to a fraction, efficiency soared and with it, of course, quality. This machine still makes our work easier today.
