In the year of the millennium, we also opened a new era: we initiated a multi-stage investment and development process, the first stage of which was the purchase of CAD-based die design software.
I went to the CAD design course without even having a computer, so I had to rely on what I had learned there. I was very diligent, I even asked in advance if I could start the course with »zero« knowledge. »Of course, of course!« came the answer. Well, during the course it turned out that I was the only woman in the audience, and what’s more, everyone was already using the previous version of the program. I put on my smiling mask when the lecturer had to stop several times to explain: »let’s stop, because my colleague doesn’t understand!«. In the end, however, I thoroughly learned how to use the software, and not only used the design program for five years, but also taught several colleagues how to use it.
