Gyula Majer started his “business” with a self-made decopírsaw (pictured above) and hand-held bending tools in a garage . He initially designed the tools “in his head” and drew them on plywood.
When I started the business, I made the tools needed to make the cutting tools with my own hands. My many years of practice and experience as a toolmaker helped me in this. The stand-mounted decopírsaw in the picture is my first pride, which is now a “museum” piece. In the garage where I worked, it sometimes had to work well even in harsh weather conditions, because it was sometimes minus ten and plus thirty degrees. This sawing machine could still be used today if necessary.
